Prof Emmanuel O. Adu is an inaugurated Professor of Teacher Education and Curriculum Studies at the Faculty of Education, University of Fort Hare, Eastern Cape, South Africa.
He is a seasoned educationist and administrator. As a towering figure in the educational fraternity, he has a stellar array of qualifications, which include a B.Ed. Honors in Economics and Political Science, an M.Ed. in Educational Management, and a doctorate in Teacher Education.
He received these qualifications in 1994, 1997, and 2002 respectively.
Apart from being a former Dean in the Faculty of Education at the BA ISAGO University in Botswana, Professor Adu served as chairperson of the recruitment and appointment of the academic committee. Currently, he is the President of Global Education Network (GEN), and a member of the Academic Network on Global Education and Learning (ANGEL) which allows him to work with different, types of post-graduate students, including international students across the continent.
